It's hard to believe March is over and that April's here. We finished moving into the new office, are debuting our showcase house later this month (stay tuned for more details on how you can come see it), are making progress on the new construction project and will be celebrating the opening of the youth building we worked on at the end of the month!
Tracy Design Studio Office
The office was inspired by Vicente Wolf's New York loft to showcase how the past seamlessly blends with the present. The focal point of conference room is a 11' oak table imported from Italy that goes beautifully with our custom floors and cabinetry. It's the perfect mix of antique and contemporary. We still have a few finishing touches to make, but we couldn't be more pleased with out it came out!
We're excited to be partnering with Montecito Builders on this 7 bedroom Yorkshire countryside inspired home. Our goal was to incorporate beautiful antique pieces like the door to the chilled wine cellar, the stone fireplace and the cabinetry in the master retreat, alongside modern conveniences. There is still lots to be done, but we are excited to finalize everything and share the finished product.
New Home Construction
Like any construction project, it starts out slowly but then suddenly things start falling into place. On the outside, the roof and stone are being put up. Inside, all the tile has been selected and all the custom millwork is being built and installed. Next, they will be starting the painting and flooring.
We're so excited that the doors of the youth building will finally be open to the students at the end of the month. The building was meant to create a gathering spot for students to be able to relax and hang out with friends. The brighter color palette gives it a more youthful feel and comfortable furniture makes it feel like home. We are putting the finishing touches on the building and can't wait to celebrate it's opening!
